Here at Toyota of El Cajon we all helped out to decorate our lobby with Christmas trees and Santa’s workshop, and some of the cars in the showroom with ribbons and reindeer gear.

On Tuesday the 30th all employees brought food, appetizers, deserts and treats to the dealership and we all enjoyed a nice potluck lunch buffet in our training room. There was pasta salads, pulled meat, tacos, fried chicken, bean dip, fruit salads, cookies, cakes and much much more.
In 1976, Mr. Joseph “Joe” Trentacosta bought a brand new Toyota Celica at a local San Diego Toyota dealership. Now, 36 years later, we have the pleasure of displaying Joe’s 1976 Celica for everyone to see in our showroom here at Toyota of El Cajon.
Before Joe bought the Celica he owned a ’69 Corona which he drove for three years and then a ’73 Buick which unfortunately got flooded in a storm on a cross-country road trip. So when Joe came into the Toyota dealership in 1976 to buy a Corolla for his ex-wife he decided to also treat himself to a new car and traded in his Corona and Buick for the new ’76 Celica. Carlos and Krys came to Toyota of El Cajon with their 2004 Toyota Expedition to see if there were any newer Toyota models that might catch their attention. They were not sure they wanted to get another car but primarily made their way over to see what their options were.
After talking to our sales team they realized they did not even have to get a second car, but had the option oftrading their 2004 Expeditions for a newer Toyota model and only pay the small difference.
They decided on a 2011 Toyota Tacoma and said they could not be happier with the trade.
